So... I didn't exactly follow up with this last year but I did follow up with the garden. I'll post a slideshow of the season soon. For now you'll have to trust me that it was a fantastic year! The garden gained a lot more space in the backyard and we attempted a number of new crops. In 2010 our watermelon plants actually survived producing two delicious melons and we grew a massive pumpkin! Our tomato plants were once again bountiful as were the pepper, pea, and squash plants.
My goal for this year is to start more plants from seed. I tried last year but I wasn't around often enough to keep them watered so this year I need to come up with a plan that works. It's a bit difficult when I live between two cities but I am not giving up hope!
